Cardiff University offers scholarships to students from India enrolling on the Postgraduate Taught Degree Programmes. Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding Indian students with the highest academic achievements prior to starting their programmes.

Eligibility: A good honours degree in business, social sciences, humanities, law or other relevant subjects, from an approved university

Eligibility criteria:

The scholarship is offered in the form of a reduction in tuition fee. The scholarships will apply to students beginning their degree course in September 2014.

Entry requirements for students from India:

For entry into year 1 of an undergraduate Bachelors degree, you’ll need to have one of the following:

  •  HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 50% from the West Bengal exam board
  •  HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 55% from the following exam boards: CBSE, Delhi, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu
  •  HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 60% with at least 40% in a minimum of 5 subjects from any other exam board
  •  A recognised foundation qualification

English language requirements

Eligibility: Applicants should be international students. Scholarships will be awarded on merit. Applicants should have a first or upper second class UK honours degree, or equivalent. applicants should have received at least a conditional offer from the University to study on the full-time MBA programme. Applicants must have the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities.

Value: £5000 each.
