Field of study: East Asian Studies, Economics, Education, Geography, Information School, Journalism, Politics, Sociological Studies, Town and Regional Planning.

Level: Undergraduate.

Eligibility: Indian undergraduate students starting their studies in any of the following departments: East Asian Studies, Economics, Education, Geography, Information School, Journalism, Politics, Sociological Studies, Town and Regional Planning. Applicant must hold an offer of a study place for undergraduate studies in one of the above departments. Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes. The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. Award in subsequent years of study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark.

Value: £1,500 per year each. The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.

How to apply: The scholarships will be awarded automatically – no application is required in first or subsequent years.

Level: All levels.

Eligibility: All University of Sheffield graduates and siblings, spouses, sons and daughters of University of Sheffield graduates for all years of study. Students must be self-funding and classified as overseas for fee purposes.

Value: £1000 per year of study. An additional £500 is available for University of Sheffield graduates who have received a first class honours undergraduate degree. Alumni Rewards can be awarded in addition to University of Sheffield Scholarships.

No. of scholarships: 8.  US/South America – 2 Scholarships; Asia/Pacific – 2 Scholarships; EU (excluding UK) – 2 Scholarships; Africa/Middle East – 2 Scholarships.

Tenable at: The School of Business, Sheffield University.

Eligibility: Applicants should be international students. Scholarships will be awarded on merit. Applicants should have a first or upper second class UK honours degree, or equivalent. applicants should have received at least a conditional offer from the University to study on the full-time MBA programme. Applicants must have the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities.

Value: £5000 each.

Additional scholarship: In addition to the regular scholarships awarded by the Management School, a scholarship of £2000 is available for all Indian Masters students.

India Merit Undergraduate Scholarships (£7,000)

Eligibility: Indian students starting their undergraduate degree studies in September. Applicants must be Indian nationals or permanently domiciled in India. Applicants should hold an offer of a study place for entry in September. The India Merit Undergraduate Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Value: £7,000 per year each in the form of a tuition fee reduction for all undergraduate programmes except Medicine and Dentistry. Students of Medicine or Dentistry will only receive the scholarship in the first two years of study.

There are three classes of scholarships:

•£1,000 each for students studying Nanotechnology courses (jointly run with the University of Leeds)
•£1,500 each for students paying fees between £12,760 – £14,680
•£2,000 each for students paying fees of £14,681 and upwards

The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
