Eligibility: Applicants should be Indian national residing in India. They should be self-funded as overseas category. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit.

How to apply: The scholarship application deadline is 31 May 2014. To be eligible, applicants must hold an offer of admission in their chosen programmes by this date. No separate application necessary.

The University of Chester welcomes applications from Indian students to apply for GREAT/University of Chester Scholarships. The scholarships are part funded by the British Council and part funded by the University of Chester. GREAT Scholarships are offered to Indian students for September 2014 intake.

The University of Chester is celebrating its 175 year of teaching. With hundreds of courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and research degree level across seven academic faculties, the University now has about 17,000 students from over 90 countries across its two main campuses in Chester and Warrington.

  •  HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 50% from the West Bengal exam board
  •  HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 55% from the following exam boards: CBSE, Delhi, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu
  •  HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 60% with at least 40% in a minimum of 5 subjects from any other exam board
  •  A recognised foundation qualification

English language requirements
