Field of study: Any subject in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Tenable at: Sheffield University.

Eligibility: Applicants should be International undergraduate students commencing their studies in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Value: £1,500 per year each in the form of a tuition fee reduction.

Eligibility: Applicants must hold an offer of a study place and begin their undergraduate studies in one of these departments: Archaeology, Biblical Studies, History, Philosophy, Music, School of English, School of Languages and Cultures. Applicants should be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes. The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. Award in subsequent years of study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark.

How to apply: The scholarships will be awarded automatically – no application is required in first or subsequent years.

Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship (including Prime Minister’s Scholarship)

The Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship provides financial support for international students to undertake a postgraduate qualification at a Masters or PhD level either by coursework or research in any field of study in Australia.

Duration: Up to 4 years.

Aims of the scholarship
The Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship aims to: enable high achieving international students to undertake a postgraduate qualification either by coursework or research in their chosen fields of study in Australia, strengthen bilateral ties between Australia and the participating countries, showcase Australia’s education sector, strengthen mutual understanding between the people of Australia and recipients home countries, and build international linkages and networks.

Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Incoming Postgraduate Scholarship

The top twenty (20) recipients of the Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship (PhD only), from the ten eligible Asian countries and regions listed below, will be offered the Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Scholarship and its additional benefits.

Participating countries:
Citizens and/or Permanent Residents of India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Republic of Korea (South Korea), Singapore, The People’s Republic of China (including Hong Kong, and Macau SAR’s), Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam are eligible for this Scholarship.

All eligible international applicants for the Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship from the countries and regions listed above will automatically be considered for this Scholarship. Applicants do not have to acknowledge that they want to be considered for a Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Scholarship.

International applicants are advised not to contact their Australian host university regarding the Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Incoming Postgraduate Scholarship. The eligibility requirements and application process are the same as for the Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship.

When to apply: Applications for the 2015 round are expected to open in April 2014. Please check the Australia Awards Endeavour Scholarship and Fellowships website closer to April 2014 for further information, applicant guidelines and eligibility criteria.

 

Adelaide International Undergraduate Scholarships (AIUS)

Adelaide International Undergraduate Scholarships (AIUS)

No. of scholarships: 4.

Tenable at: Bradford College(1), Eynesbury College(1), General (2)

Field of study: Any discipline except Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Oral Health and the Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience).

Duration: Up to four years.

Eligibility: For international students commencing undergraduate study only.

Value: Waiver of full tuition fees for the normal duration of the program, subject to satisfactory performance.

1. AIUS Bradford College Scholarship

No. of scholarships: 1.

Value: 100% tuition fee waiver for the top ranked student.

Ciitzenship: International.

Applicants must be undertaking a Foundation Studies program at Bradord College in Adelaide. Available for entry into Semester 1 only.

How to apply: No application required. Bradford College will nominate recipient.

2. AIUS Eynesbury College Scholarship

No. of scholarships: 1.

Value: 100% tuition fee waiver for the top ranked student.

Citizenship:  International.

Applicants must be undertaking a Foundation Studies program at Eynesbury College in Adelaide. Available for entry into Semester 1 only

How to apply: No application required. The College will nominate recipient.
